Product Description
Riptide Reflection installs completely in just a few minutes, requiring minimal configuration and almost no maintenance. Reflection requires only two pieces of information from you to get started — how to log into your database and how to log into your Salesforce organization. Once running, Reflection automatically copies data from Salesforce and modifies the structure of your database to reflect all changes made to Salesforce fields or objects. Did you just install a new application from the AppExchange into your Salesforce organization? Within minutes, those new objects will appear in your local database.
Reflection offers a wide variety of configuration options to meet your specific needs; starting with how often Reflection monitors your Salesforce database. You also get to choose how Reflection will handle deleted and archived records — and you even get to choose which Salesforce objects will be replicated and how the corresponding database tables will be indexed. And, when needed, you can also run Reflection directly in interactive mode.
